In Kigali, Rwanda’s capital city, Moses Bukenya runs a sacrificial ministry to aid widows and orphans who have suffered from either or both the genocide in 1994 and the ongoing pandemic of HIV AIDS. Many of these are single mothers who have no means of income. Moses has acquired ten sewing machines so that they can work to provide for their families and pay for their children’s tuition fees, yet they need a lot of attention as some are very discouraged due to the conditions they are in. The need is great, for despite there only being ten sewing machines, people from the community and even outside the community have come to Moses, asking to be taught the skills. Paying the teachers is also a great need with which Moses finds it hard to cope.
