Elvenia is Lucas Wafula’s youngest daughter. She has translated Maurice’s book ‘Will the Real Christians Please Stand Up’ into Swahili. We have bought a small laptop for Elvenia, which we plan to give her soon (as she has translated the entire book by hand), but our main concern is flying her over to Manchester to stay at Barratt Ministries for about a month. This will be partly as a treat for all her efforts translating Maurice’s first book into Swahili, but primarily to teach her how we make the books, so that in the near future the little machinery necessary can be financed and the books printed in Kenya. This will enable them to be distributed without much cost and with greater efficiency.

For this reason we have set up The Elvenia Fund. We are looking at around £700 for return flights and transport. If you would like to donate something towards her trip, please do so, as we are sure this will be a very profitable time for both her and us.

We accept cheques, PayPal, and bank transfers, and our details can be found on the Contact page. To donate via PayPal, click the ‘Donate’ button in the top right corner. Notes can be added in PayPal to clarify what the money should go towards.
